Mission

Our mission is to promote, implement, and execute actions for the research, assistance, and education in eye care and vision.

It was created in 1990 with the mission to promote, implement, and execute actions for the research, assistance, and education in eye care and vision. Main initiatives to promote eye care and fight avoidable blindness have been taken in underserved and remote areas of the country, mainly the Brazilian Amazon.
